Connect Your Apps to TMetric
TMetric easily integrates into your favorite web app so you can track your working time without leaving the app. To connect your app to TMeric, all you need to do is:
1. Install browser extension
You can easily install TMetric browser extension in your favorite browser: Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge, and Safari.
TMetric supports integration with a large number of web applications, such as Asana, GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Pivotal Tracker, Redmine, Todoist, Trello, UserVoice, You Track, and much more.
2. Track tasks in one click
Once you install the TMetric browser extension, you will be able to track your time for external tasks with just one click.
Let's say you use Jira. When you click the TMetric button, the time spent on a Jira task is automatically synchronized with your TMetric workspace in real time.
3. Login to your app and start tracking your time
Let's take a look at a Jira issue. Jira is a popular system used by many software developers for project planning and tracking. After you install the TMetric browser extension, you will see the Start Timer button in every single Jira issue.
To start tracking time in Jira, click the Start timer button. After that, the Start timer button changes to the Stop timer button and displays the time you spent on the task.
Behind the scene, while you are still in Jira, a new time entry with the description and ID of the Jira item is created in TMetric. If you go to TMetric, you will see the time entry on the timesheet with the ID being a link to the Jira issue page. You can click the link to open the issue on the Jira dashboard.
