How to Track Project Hours

Step 1
Sign up
- Visit the Sign Up page.
- Choose your sign-in method: email, Google, Microsoft, or Apple.
- Enter your details (if signing up with email) and agree to the terms.
- Verify your email through the confirmation link.

Set up projects
- Visit the Projects page.
- Click the New Project button.
- Enter a project name and select a client.
- Add optional details: project code, image, and notes.
- Set billing and budget to track revenue and costs.
- Employees can start tracking their time against the project.

Invite your team
- Navigate to Workspace and select Members.
- Click Invite Members.
- Enter users’ emails in the invitation window.
- Click Send Emails to complete the invitation.
- Invited users get a simple email to join.
- On the Teams page, create a team if needed.
- Add members or a team to the project to track its progress.

Integrate time tracker with PM tool
- Navigate to the Integrations page.
- Click New Integration and select the tool you need.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Sync data between TMetric and the selected tool for task and time tracking.

- Track time on internal tasks via the Tasks page in TMetric.

Set hourly rates
- Go to the Projects page.
- Choose a project or create a new one to set an hourly rate.
- In the Billing section, for Hourly Rates, select Work type rate.
- In the Work types section, set the rates you need.
- Uncheck the dollar sign to make a work type non-billable.
- Bill your clients only for the tasks that you need.
- Members can log time under work types with different client rates.

- Choose a project or create a new one to set a budget.
- In the Budget section, select the type of budget you need.
- Select a budgeting method, specify the size, and set other options.
