How to Download and Install Desktop App on Mac

    Download and Install TMetric

    • Click download TMetric Mac app. Run the installer and follow the prompts to complete the installation.

    Launch TMetric and Sign in

    • Open the TMetric app on your Mac. Log in to your TMetric account or visit the Sign Up page to create one.

    Start Tracking Time

    • To start recording your time, click the Start timer button on the TMetric dashboard. For a better workflow, you can also include details like a project name, task name, and tags. As you work, the timer will record how long you spend on each task.

    Edit or Add Manual Time Entries

    • Go to the Time page to manually add time. Choose a date, enter the start and end times, and include task specifics. You can record the time spent on tasks that you finish without a timer thanks to this function.

    Enable Idle Detection

    • Turn on Idle Time Detection in the settings to guarantee accurate time tracking. This way only active work time is recorded and the timer will be automatically stopped during periods of inactivity.
